Typical Summer Meal

Here is a sample meal from my mother. And yes, she is a creative genius in the kitchen — she rarely looks at recipes and constantly uses her imagination to combine the freshest ingredients she finds. The key is organic and fresh veggies!

Delicious right? No wonder I have gained weight this summer!!!! I am so fortunate to have had my mother cook for us the past 10 weeks! Thank you, Mama! You are truly an inspiration.

  1. Very nice! This is inspiring to make something fresh, followed by some homemade cookies. The only thing I will say is the look of anchovies freaks me out a little. (though I do love Caesar dressing)

    • on the contrary – i got excited to see them…so delish…even buy anchovy paste to add to weak caesar dressing or garlic paste for some recipes …or shred tinned oil soaked anchovies into salad and when craving salt have whole wheat matzoh w/ french mustard and anchovies … so good —remind me of growing up and mom favored pizza with anchovies …that as a kid grossed me out!

  2. this looks AMAZING!!!!!! thanks for the ideas! (and i loooooove anchovies) (and milk fish). miss you, la lovely yael!
