Union Wine Co. — Wine in a Can

Truth be told, I am not a big drinker (I am constantly in a state of my own drunkenness) and when I *do* drink, I am a super cheap date lightweight (aka fall asleep before double digits)…nonetheless, I am so excited by this Oregon Wine Company, hallelujah-ohmygoodness-bless-the-lord-maybe-ill-start-guzzling-now! WHAT IS HIPPER THAN DRINKING WINE OUT OF A CAN? Big kudos to Union Wine Company … (Flashback to drinking champagne out of a can…)

UnderWOOD!

UnderWOOD!

As odd as it sounds, having wine in a can is more fun / more of a conversation piece / easier to transport, than wine in a bottle. You can chug a can in a hammock, cheers on a hike, pour it in a glass for a picnic… the options are limitless. Union Wine Company’s collection, Underwood, carries three different types of wine: pinot gris, pinot noir, and rose. All three varieties are offered in the can. A can is 375 milliliters in size, which is about 2 glasses of wine. Half a bottle in a can. Booyaka!

Three varieties! Triple the fun.

Three varieties! Triple the fun. The pinot noir tasting notes: cherries, raspberries, and chocolate (sign me up!). The pinot gris tasting notes: peach, grapefruit and pear. The rose tasting notes: strawberry, watermelon, and peach.

The perfect duo.

The perfect duo.

Crisp. And cool.

Crisp. And cool.

AHHHHH

  1. Oregon is so clever about food/drinks, I love all of their ideas! I must go there some day.

  2. Oh! How awesome. These would be perfect for camping trips. Are these only available online if you live in the city? Either way I plan to try them 🙂
