Tracksmith

I am always on the lookout for new workout gear as I spend a large portion of my existence schlepping around / working out / thinking about running. Bandier has mastered most of my workout closet, but I was still searching for the perfect short (vs legging). I have found that many things are wrong with workout shorts: too short, too tight, cotton inside (vs mesh), not flattering, generic, the list goes on and on. Until I came across Tracksmith. And now I am in love. They are expensive ($60) but worth every single cent. Seriously, they are the perfect short.

They are lightweight, luxurious, with the right fit and shape. It sounds weird to say, but they stayed put the entire time running (ie no wedgie), not constrictive, and felt airy and light.

Short shorts and bulging quads. Yes, these shorts are short, but they are not too short, and they don't feel like I am showing the world my badankadank.

Additionally, I am a huge fan of the other Tracksmith products, especially the matching tank top. And yes, I was tempted to wear it together for the race, but thought it looked a little too dorky…..kind of like when you wear the shirt of the race you are running that same day…..

In this picture, don't look at ME, rather the awesome outfit of my photobomber. How awesome is his whole look????

I am tempted to buy more of these shorts for my summer of running with the Eugene Running Club…..hope you are having a great first week in June! Summer is here!
