Call me an urban hippie, but I can’t help falling in love with anything bohemian, hippie, ethnic, and colorful. The past few years, I have been on the hunt for a dream catcher for our bedroom as they are beautiful and carry meaning. Nothing seemed quite right, until I found Electric Love dream catchers….and they blew me away. It was hard to pick one, as these handmade pieces of art are unlike any other.
Electric Love’s work is created in Brooklyn by Hitomi Matarese & Charlie Walker, a husband and wife team. I first stumbled upon them at my absolute favorite store, Warm, in Nolita. The moment I saw them, I knew I *needed* one in my life. We went the custom route and decided on one that was soothing, unique, shimmery, and pacifying. Everytime I look at it, I smile.
Here are pictures of the dream catcher that won our hearts and brings us only positive dreams to our world.
They are not cheap (is anything these days?) but they are definitely worth it. For custom orders and inquires, go to info@electriclovenyc.com.
Drooling and swooning over these magical pieces. LOVE. Next, we have to choose a dream catcher for our kids (special request from Cruzzie).
Gorgeous.
We have a dream catcher in our car. Not sure if that makes sense, but we like it!
Just ordered two! One in all black (gorg!) and one in blush w/ rose petal accents. Can’t wait to put them up.
Great idea for the kids rooms – I got one for my each of daughters with a rainbow print. They hold up really well and make serve as beautiful decor statement pieces.
I love dreamcatchers. My mum collected them. We have one in our room, one in Olive’s, one in the car (just for positive vibes) and a little one downstairs. None quite as fancy as these ones though! Maybe some day… 🙂 they are so beautiful.
