Juice Press

There are a handful of items that I miss from NYC when I am out west for the summer. Obviously, I miss my husband, my friends, and my gym classes. But the only other thing I really, deeply, truly miss is my raw oatmeal from Juice Press.

And yes, thinking about Juice Press and all its delicious food makes me want to cry because I can’t take it anymore. I want the oatmeal NOOOOOOWWWWWWW. When in NYC, I am utterly spoiled as the Juice Press Uptown is a 2 minute walk from my apartment. But out west, it is not that simple. Yes, Juice Press does ship across the country (!!!) but it isn’t the same thing (no instant gratification).  The raw oatmeal is UNBELIEVABLE HOLY SHMOLY TO DIE FOR YOU NEED TO BUY TWO GALLONS ASAP.

Oh. Em. Gee. Best thing in the world.

oatmeal

Yes, doesn’t look that great. But trust me. As you can see, there are scrape marks from my fork and spoon because I can’t just look at it without eating it.

Inside.

Inside. So delicious.

Breakfast of champions.

Breakfast of champions; greek yogurt, fruit, and raw oatmeal.

The raw oatmeal is raw oatmeal (obvi) soaked in cashew milk, blended with dates and spices. It it so addictive — filling, sweet but not overly sugary, creamy, and thick. I actually need to try replicating this recipe as I spend a fortune on it every week, but raw oatmeal = happy, and me happy = family happy. To learn more about Juice Press, go here. Have a great weekend! I can’t believe that it is AUGUST!!!!!!!!
